My name is Kim Gill and I am currently the teacher of the Special Education Junior Area Composite Class at Ryerson P.S. This is a class for students that have been identified through the I.P.R.C. process as exceptional learners with mild intellectual disabilities. I am not a fan of these educational labels, so I call our class Gill-Ville. Gill-Ville is a place where all students can be successful and we celebrate our unique ways of learning. We are like a family in Gill-Ville and once a child joins our “exclusive club” they become a Gill-Villean. This blog documents some of the projects and events occurring in our learning zone, which is not always the classroom!!
